There is no confusion here the Gaelics or celts were the original post ice age inhabitants of these isles the romans,angles,danes and other marauding usurpers came later and we ended in many places with a hotch potch of tribal infusion which seems quite sober when you look at the social farming happening now-you are right we are easier to manipulate and oppress when we dont know our (common)heritage and traditions it seems to me that every external arrival on these shores has pushed the in-alienable inhabitants further into loss by the day year or centuries…i guess we need to go back to the begining of our realm and it gets more simple-i cant accept any laws or statutes that dont respect my inalienable right to exist free on the land of my ancient celtic forefathers(called pagans-a derogatory term to refer to those outside the city or republic) by roman emperors,which basically means people not yet enslaved by consent,it took brute force to civilise these islands by people who simply had greater force.

Some seem to be getting their English history distorted here.
The Anglo-Saxons came to Briton approx the 5th century, England didn’t exist then because the birth of the English people hadn’t happened by then and it is the English who named England. (Try not to mix England with Briton or modern day Britain.)
The Welsh originally invited the Anglo-Saxons to Briton to help fend off the Picts and Scotts in return for land and ammenities, this was after the Romans had left Briton, this was successful until the Welsh ‘Welshed’ out of the deal which is where the term to welsh out of a deal comes from, then fighing broke out between the Welsh and the Anglo-saxons who had by then amalgimated into one core English identity, they wwre a mix of the Angles, Saxons and Jutes with the Angles being the main largest identity of which the whole English identity was moulded around if you like but all were very similar Northern European north Germanic tribes and note that they were not Christian they were Heathen but as soon as they were established calling themselves the English and calling their land England which hapenned over a few hundred years from approx the 5th century to 1066 the Pope sent Christian missionaries to convert the early English and then came the Norman invasion and rule from 1066 onwards which hammered home more Christianity and they ruled over the English with brutality.
The anti-English British establishment carries on Norman culture by being anti-English and has not given any of the English their true English history hence most talk of English history being Roman – Norman – Elizabethen – Victorian etc etc with Anglo-Saxon/English ommitted and with Roman being pre-English history nothing to do with the English! and when English history/Anglo-Saxon history is included it is demonised.
Anyway I really feel the Lawful Rebelion and Freeman movement needs to get this part of our history corrected and I can give you pointers of websites who will give you it in true truth telling style without corupt British establishment lies keeping your identity from you as that is part of their plan – i.e. If the English don’t know their true history and identity then they are a lost people and easy to manipulate and control.

i can not see how theses violent invaders were used by the Romans,when it was the British aristocracy of the time cried to Rome for protection from them,and far from being stupid savages brought the heavy plough,and countless amounts of artistic wealth.
I strongly suggest you learn some history for your self,by buying books and researching before you gob off again.
You also speak English,a Germanic tongue,and England gets its name from the Angles,i am sure you can see the connection.
I always thought this site was about freedom,(Good Anglo-Saxon word that)

sorry pete i have to entirely disagree with you on every level. you need to read beyond the bollox taught in institutions. the anglo saxons were stupid violent invaders used by the Romans to get at this island. we look at the true heritage of this island, not the invaders heritage.

Thank you for that,but i amazed at the historic inaccuracy of the first part of the speech,King Harold was Anglo-Danish,and common law comes from the Anglo Saxons not the Gallic folk prior to the Roman invasion,sorry if this sounds un pc,but there seems to be a common thread through out to rub out the Anglo Saxon heretige of England,where the very name of our nation comes from,rant over,i’ll get my coat.
