There are many of you emailing us and writing comments about what you should do about filling in the Census, and we’re trying our best to get back to each and every one of you, but this is sometimes impossible.

I learnt something once from travelling up to Scotland with John Harris once, where he was stopped by Police and refused to take any paperwork from them. This meant that he wasn’t subject to their Judge Dred summary judgement on the side of the road and that if the Police wanted to proceed with anything, they’d have to do tonnes more paperwork by getting in touch with the Courts.

Like you, I have received my 2011 census form from the Office of National Statistics (ONS). The cover page prominently states, in bold, “Your personal information is protected by law. Census information is kept confidential for 100 years”. Like you, perhaps, I have taken this statement at face value.

ONS has verified that whatever you fill out in the 2011 Census, your very personal information will become Crown property and nobody will have any comebacks if LOCKHEED MARTIN or any other corrupt corporations decides to steal the Census data…

On Sunday March 27, 2011 I will be breaking the law.

If you live in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland then I would also like you to break the law. We can do it together, and I know for a fact that an awful lot of people will be doing the same.

It is a crime to do nothing.
According to the ONS, if your completed Census is lost in the post, you have to prove that it was indeed lost in the post – this means it’s not the Post Office’s responsibility, it is yours from when you post it until it hits the Census factory – how odd.

A very interesting email came our way today that included a press release from the Office of National Statistics talking about why babies will be included in the 2011 Census… whatever on that front…

The Census Rebellion is now in full swing and we’re getting so many emails from people who are helping out, telling us about their own Census Rebellion and we’re also getting loads of interesting links to more and more information.

We know that there are no clear cut boundaries of how you should rebel against the Census, everybody needs to do it their way, so they feel comfortable with being part of this collective Census Rebellion.
